How much is current limit in case of VOUT short to ground?
Is it the same as "VO in regulation" 0～300mA?

Hi Matsumoto-san,

This device allows user to set current limit by adjusting current limit resistors with a +/- 8% accuracy. When LIMx is shorted to ground, the internal current limit is 340mA(min) and 550mA(Max).

I guess Hirotaka wants to know whether the current limiting (configured by RLIM) will work as expected even when Vout goes all the way down to 0V.

Hi Matsumoto-san,

I have verified it on bench. When you limit the current limit through resistor, the limit is still there when vout is shorting to ground. For example, a 820 Ohms resistor at Ilim can limit the current limit to 300mA (+/-8% across temp). When the device's output is being shorted to ground, the current limit of the device is still 300mA. If Ilim is shorted to ground, at room, the current limit could go as high as 450mA.
