Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24073
Hi BMS team,
We're in midst of proposing a battery charging solution to our clients & for your reference below, the summary features of charger IC are as follows:
1. The battery voltage is 4.2V and charging current is about 500mA max.
2. Able to charge the 1130mAH li-on battery within 2 hours.
3. IC must have indicator for battery low, charging start.
4. Charger IC should have basic protection for safety purpose, for example : (if have extra protection is better)
- Input OVP
- Output OVP
- short circuit protection
- Thermal protection
I notice that BQ24296 may be a good fit but seems like a combo chip solution may be required to meet all the criteria above. Kindly advise on my proposal. Thanks.
Regards,
Leo
