BQ78350-R1: "CHG off "when converter from discharge to charge

Dear TI,

I use BQ76920+BQ78350-R1 for 5S1P 18650 application.

When i use converter charging battery to 100% capacity as below

The CHG will turn off , then i enable discharge mode , the CHG will auto turn on as below picture

after few minutes, i set converter from discharge to charge mode,

the CHG will turn off and lock.

I don't know which protection be triggered?

Please help me to figure out and where can i modify this parameters?

    Hi Chiayuan,
    It can be easier to identify changes if you run a log of the events and look for data changes. Your last image does not show any fault in the Safety Status register, so it is not a safety protection. You have discharged the battery about 1%. The flags in Battery Status still show TCA and FC, the battery still thinks it is full and should not be charged. You should check the configuration of the parameters for charging, look particularly at the technical reference manual section 5.4 on the Charge and Discharge Alarms.
