Dear  E2E:

i read tps22970 datasheet  and confused in page 13. maximum inrush current=2.5A   Cl=800uf  introduction.
I Have  used tps22925  in datasheet page 18.  CL=1uf, maximum acceptable inrush current =40mA. 
Does  tps22970  maximun inrush current  the same meaning as tps22925. maximum acceptable inrush current.?  thanks.

    Hi user4370495,

    The "maximum inrush current" specified in the typical application section is not the maximum inrush current that the device can handle. The maximum inrush current is decided by the system requirements created by the user. The TPS22925 would also be able to support 2.5A of inrush current, but in the example we used 40mA to show how to do the inrush current calculations.
