As title, we what to know what's the maximum capacitor can have for SS pin.

Can it keep open to get maximum SS time?

    Shaquille,

    If you leave the SS pin open the parasitic capacitance of the pin will be charged up. Due to the parasitic capacitor being small the SS time will be really short. Any value of capacitor could be used for the SS capacitor. Some large capacitors have a high leakage current. Please ensure that the leakage current of the capacitor is less than that of the SS pin charge current.
