LM79: do we have industrial grade(-40 to 85 C) negative LDO?

Hi, I've checked both LM and UA series LDO but can't find an industrial grade one.

Do we have such device, do we have plan to release such device?

Hi Howard,

Here are the negative LDOs that we have released that have an output current rating greater than 1A. There are several that meet the -40 to 85C requirements. If you could share some more details about the application, Iout, Vin, Vout, package, etc. I will be able to help you narrow down this list.

I find that only LM337-N is within comparable price with LM79, but it's not pin to pin.

I have customers using LM79 from ST of industrial grade.

No, it's SO-8 package. I would like to be more specific, we don't have pin to pin compatible device with L79L05ACD13TR, do we plan to have one? Or do we plan to have industrial grade LM79?

Hi Howard,

The closest device we have released right now would be the UCC284 products. However, they are not P2P with the L7905ACD13TR. If we are able to deviate from the SO-8 package we will be able to meet the requirements better.
