We need a Li-ion battery charger which supports 4.2V, 4A+, 4 cells, NTC, and I2C.

We are planning to use 12V(65W+) from normal wall warp adapter.

Do you have any part to support the requirements?

Are the 4 cells in parallel or series?

They are series. I prefer a charger to have each cell connection as bq2060a.

For 12V in and 4*4.2V = 16.8V battery voltage, the only part I can think of is bq25703A which I do not directly support. I will forward this thread on to the person who supports this part.

Yes. As Jeff said, BQ25703A is an I2C buck boost charger with external FETs. So, it can support most your requirement. But, it don't monitor the battery temperature. Please help me clarify the meaning of "NTC". Does it mean monitoring the battery temperature?

The battery structure is 4S10P, which is 40 Li-ion batteries in a pack.
We are considering a separate TI BMS chip but it may not be able to support each cell current.

Also the battery charger input for now is 12V wal wart power.
It means the charger should provide boost function unless you don’t have external booster circuit.

Do you have any solution?
