TPS53915: About /ALERT pin pull up condition

Hi,

Could you tell me about TPS53915 /ALERT pin?
1.Is this pin open drain?
2.Is the pull-up voltage 1.8 V good enough?
And Please tell me the recommended value of pull-up resistor.

I believe that /ALERT pin conform to the PMBus standard.
However, the explanation is not described in the data sheet.
So I asked a question.

I only indirectly support TPS53915. We are on a holiday in the US it may be next week before I can find out.

It is an open drain. The TPS53915 conforms to the older SMBUS specification which was not design to support the 1.8V pull-up. This was told to me by the designer. We’ve always used the USB Interface Adapter which has a 2.2K pull up to 3.3V and never has issue with this pull up being too strong or weak. I am sure the USB Interface Adaptor conforms to the SMBUS specifications as well.
