I received an alert notification that the TPS65218 part is now NRND. I found on TI website this new part (TPS65218D0) that seems to be an alternative. But is it ? What are the main differences between TPS65218 and TPS65218D0 ?

The TPS65218D0 replaces the TPS65218 completely. They are pin-to-pin equivalent and the TPS65218D0 has improved performance vs the TPS65218 -B1 device that is now NRND. The -D0 version does not remove any features, so there is no risk in changing over to the TPS65218D0 as soon as possible.
