BQ35100: BQ35100 SOH update time when GE change Low to High

Hi  

I have one question for about BQ35100 .

Now we making Host side Control Software and I have one issues.

[ Question ] 

 We want to know SOH Update timing  when GE control change to  Low to High (Enable). 

Because of we need Host side SOH data read timing after  GE Control .

  Yes , we want to know   " Wait time " SOH update after GE control. 

Could you tell us about this SOH update time  ??

    Jasper,

    This answer depends on which mode you are in. If you are in SOH mode you can read the SOH value once the [INIT_COMP] bit gets set. This is on the order of < 100mS. If you are in EOS mode SOH will not be updated until after the [GDONE] bit is set. This bit get set after the following sequence

    1) GE_HIGH

    2) [Gauge Start] command

    3) PULSE LOAD Start

    4) PULSE LOAD End

    5) [Gauge Stop] command

    6) Wait for GDONE. This takes the data memory parameter [R Data Seconds] in order for the gauge to run its calculations. by default it is 15 seconds

    7) Read SOH and other parameters from gauge

    8) GE pin low.
