TPS650830: Output current for PMIC VR1,2,4,5

Hello Sirs,

1.May I help your help to double check power spec for external MOSFET VR1,3,4,5 of PMIC as below ? Any suggested power block ?

VR5 5V 12A

VR3 3.3V 5A

VR4 1.2V 10A

VR1 1.0V 10A

2.OCP setting is 1.5x for each rail

3.CPU is Intel Skylake-U/Coffeelake-U . Is it ok to provide PMIC DSN file ?

Hi, Terry,
TPS650830 has 4 buck controllers (VR1 and VR3/4/5); it depends on external MOSFETs and good PCB thermal design; all controllers can support up to 20A load current when using low enough power loss and high enough Id current; like CSD95496QVM for up to 20A; CSD87335Q3D up to 15A.
We can provide PMIC DSN file in Altium only.

Correct: CSD95496QVM is not a power block. CSD87384M is a power block for up to 20A load current.
