Hi all,

I am looking for a way to synchronize two TPS57160 in one design.

Goal would be to have them running 180° out of phase at the same frequency to avoid any kind of beat frequencies.

Would it be possible to use the clock of one device and put it into a buffer/inverter to use it for the second device?

Any help is highly appreciated.

Yes, this is possible. Just make sure to address any delay from the inverter.

Hello Sam,

Can you please share some more details how to do it? There is no "direct" clock output from this IC.

My mistake. I thought you had an external clock.

The only output of the TPS57160-Q1 that's synchronized with the clock is PH. You could level-shift and invert this signal but you might have an issue getting a true 180 degrees.

The best way would be to have an external clock.
