UCC28C42: UCC28C42

Part Number: UCC28C42

Hello,

i want to make a flyback converter using the UCC28C42 when i use the Tina Pspice i can't choose the caracteristics of the transformer such as the primary inductance ... So i tried to use the LTspice to make the transformer that i need but then i could'nt find the  UCC28C42 .So i need a software that contains the UCC28C42 and allows me to choose the parameters of the transformer. Can u please help me

Thank u.

  • Hi Tayssir,

I think you will need to use the ideal transformer or non-ideal transformer model and add an Inductor in parallel with the primary winding to represent the magnetizing inductance. Then be careful to connect the secondary with the correct orientation for the flyback circuit.

I will ask one our modelling team to comment as well. Unfortunately we cannot give advice with regard to other simulators but if you search the forum there may be guidance on how to import TI spice models into other simulators.

    Regards

    Peter
