I got a question about BQ24171 from my customer.
The input current was limited Idpm until charge current become 0A when the system current continue to increase .
But the input current increased after that.
Is this operation correct?

    Hi Yokota,

    Yes, that is expected behavior. IDPM will only limit charging current. The system should not load more current than what the adapter can handle.

    To be able to handle more current, a NVDC charger is required, where battery can supplement when input current limit is reached and charging current reaches 0A.
