Hi sir,

        Recently, we ues the gauge bq28z610, and want to know the something about it, as follows:

        1. Is Shutdown mode the same to Ship mode?  (Ship mode for Battery shipping!)

        2. If we want to set mode from Normal to shutdown mode, how to set the register and configure it?

        3. How to wake up the Battery from shutdown mode to Normal mode? for example: configure the register or others way.

    Hi Jingle,
    1. Yes you need to shutdown your batteries for shipping
    2. please read the section 5.4 SHUTDOWN Mode of the bq28z610 TRM
    3. from that same section: "The device returns to NORMAL mode when the voltage at PACK terminal > VStartup–"

    Hi David,
    Thanks for your support, above issue is resolved.
    I have one issue about the Reserve Battery Capacity,
    If our Battery pack capacity is 3000mAH, we have to reserve 10%, so it has the capacity of 300 mAH,
    But when the Battery State-of-Health (SOH) is deterioration, and capacity decline to 2000mAH,
    So the 10% reserve is 200mAH or 300mAH,please help us to check which value is correct?
