BQ24650: STAT1 blinking

What is meaning of STAT1 blinking? Around 1s ON / 1s OFF. Manual doesn't describe this state, according to it should be ON or OFF. Voltages at MPPSET, VCC, TS, VREF, REGN, VFB, SRP, SRN are in working ranges.

    What is the status of STAT2?

    Please refer to table 2 in the datasheet. if STAT1 is on and off but STAT2 stays OFF, then the device is in and out of fault.

    Please check if the device is in Charge suspend, overvoltage, sleep mode, or battery absent

    STAT2 if OFF. All voltages are same with respect to similat circuits which work wihout problems, but I don't have scope and can not see waveforms. Can this "in and out of fault" be due to IC damaged or it is unlikely?

    We cannot determine if the device is damaged based on STAT1 operation.
