TPS548D22: calculation of power dissipation

There are some SOA data on the datasheet. However there is no calculation for the power consumption.

In general, the total power loss is the sum of the conduction loss and switching loss (no parameter of Tr and Tf on datasheet)and other loss. Is that same on this device as well?

The SOA curves come from direct measurement, not calaculations. You could calculate the power dissipation in the usual manor, unfortunately, the required parameters are not provided. For an estimate of the power dissipation, I suggest you use the on line Webench tool.

Thank you for your support as always. So, we do not have any other way to calculate the power loss of this IC? (except WEBENCH)

Hamamoto-san,

Webench is your best option, it is based on measured data and is modeled to be very close to actual power dissipation. I have found the manual calculation techniques for integrated FET switchers are a rough approximation at best.
