SM72442: request DC/DC for solar inverter.

Hello TI,

My customer is looking for DCDC(Buck-Boost) solution including MPPT feature. We are reviewing SM3320EVM but it couldn't meet Power requirements.

Could you please recommend suitable solution with part number and software?

Input Voltage from Solar Panel : 10Vdc ~ 80Vdc

Output Voltage (for Battery charging) : 12V, 24V, 48V

Output Power: 1KW

The ~300W power level is the max from one PV panel. Where does this 1000W come from? It sounds like your system consists of a group of panels The full-bridge driver of the SM3320 is 3Apk, which may be able to handler up to 500W for operating voltage that can be up to 80V. 1000W is an over stretch, or your overall efficiency can be low. You should consider to split the total power of 1000W into three or more portions, and each uses a SM3320 and put their outputs in series.
