UCC28C43: Transformer Design

Hi,

I am designing a 48V isolated Buck-Boost Converter from UCC28C43D.

Input range ( 36V-75V DC).

Isolated output 48V-DC.

Current Requirement: 2A.

When I enter these requirements on webench, It asks me to design a custom transformer.

Can someone help with, How to design a transformer for requires specifications? Webench suggests me the Core and Bobbin for transformer but it is not available on digikey. Even if I get those, where to find the winding material and how to wind it?

Hello Vishal,

Since you are unfamiliar with transformer design, the best thing to do is to contact Wurth Electronics and request that they supply you with a custom transformer.

Emil Nierges will be able to help you with your requirements.

Unfortunately this needs to be a custom part and you will not find an of the shelf solution
