Hi guys ,

I need a battery charge for lead acid and LiFePO4 ( 12V x 40 Ah ) where would you replace a battery for the other, was thinking of using the BQ24753 controller.

I know this chager the lead acid battery but is it charge the LiFePO4 or i need another controller for LiFePO4.

BQ24620 and BQ24630 are stand-alone charger for LiFePO4 battery. BQ24753 is host controlled charge IC. The Host need control the IC for charging lead-acid battery.

if I change part of circuited, it is possible I use the bq24630 for charge the lead acid battery?

There is application note that talks about "using the bq24650 to charge a lead acid battery". http://www.ti.com/litv/pdf/slva437

Please use that idea to build the bq24610/630 lead acid charger.
