I have searched the test reports of many ref designs and it seemed short circuit was not a standard test item in these report. So, we don't have a scope picture to share.
Note that, if the TPS40210 is used in a boost converter, there is not short circuit protection because the input source can feed directly to the output via the rectifier diode.
The TPS40210's OCP protection is intended for flyback or sepic, where a direct dc link from the input to output like in the boost does not exist. When current sense resistor hit the OCP threshold, it will stop switching, and restart through soft start, and will continue such retry mode until the OC condition is removed.
