LED driver for RGB LED lamp, automotive room lamp

Hi Team,

My customer want to know the suitable device for automotive room lamp, which can drive RGB LEDs.

The requirement PWM programmable, LED current will be approx. 20mA. so 50mA /ch may be enough.

Would you advice me what the best LED driver we can be recommending?

How many strings does customer need to drive? Any interface needed?

Thank you for your comment, they do not specify but channel should be multiple of 3, because RGB.

also no requirement for interface. so please let me know some candidates you think good for them.

Hi Naoki,

The requirement is a little bit broad. It is better if you can provide some more specific requirements, like a rough channel number, PWM dimming ratio, etc.

Hi Yada-san,

We have a whole family TLCxxxx-Q1 series which can be used for driving RGB leds, from 8ch up to 24 channels. Typical device i would recommend TLC6C5724/16-Q1, which can drive up to 8RGB LEDs with max 50mA/channel.
