I have a customer asking for a design support on their product which is Power Adapter 12V 6A (72watt).
Issue: Current rating is not fully delivered and heating issue is present.
The Customer did a great business and sold around 100k units of same module to the company X
The demand is continues but there is some issue in designing or component selection .
- Customer needs support in designing the circuit and
- Selection of components from TI like:
MOSFET
Controller IC
Top switch etc.
The customer provided their schematic diagram and BOM. I could possibly send it however it should be confidentially.
