UCC28600: Replacement for AD630 used as AC/DC?

Part Number: UCC28600

Dear All,

For a probe that reads the reflections of water particles into water (water turbidity) I am using AD630 as an AC/DC. Any TI p/n that can replace this?

Many Thanks,

Antonio

  • Dear Antonio,

If my understanding is correct, you are looking for p/n to replace AD630.
But I am not sure why you also mention UCC28600 here.
Is your power supply controller using UCC28600?
Is there anything related to power AC/DC I can help you here?

    Best Regards
    Kevin
  • Hi,

I just needed to talk through E2E with someone from AC/DC group...

I need to capture a reflected light signal starting from zero and with a high noise, the more I disconnect the signal from the noise the more I can go down to the bottom in the measurement.
The sore point is the ac / dc conversion, for the moment, I used the AD630 in the Lock-in Amp configuration to not use a uC (like MSP430) and write SW pages ...
Do you have any ideas about it?

    Many Thanks,

    Antonio

  • Hi Antonio,

I am from the AC/DC group, but I am not sure what I can help you here.
Base on the information you provide, I think you want to find analog to digital converter(ADC), not AC/DC.
AC/DC is regulate the sinusoidal AC voltage from the socket, normally 90-264 Vac to DC voltage.

    Best Regards
