Hi Ryan,

I created a PCB footprint for Mentor Graphics from the bxl file and I notice that it is not the same as the recommended land pattern from the TI datasheet.

An one example, the footprint from the bxl file shows the pads as NSMD whereas in the TI datasheet, the pads are SMD as we discussed earlier in this blog.

I have inserted a couple of screenshots.  Can you please explain why?

Hi Agi,

Thank you for pointing out the discrepancy. I have informed our team who generates the bxl files. The files are being reworked to more closely align with the mechanical data provided in the datasheet.
