I have been using BQ24210 charger IC in my prototype for solar harvesting. Right now the EN pin is tied to PG, but there is no pull-up resistor for PG pin. I have tested this change just for around half a day, it works fine, the charger is able to charge the battery (just does not give an indication)
The PG pin's internal mosfet will be driven low when VBUS is above threshold, which puts the IC in charge mode.
However, I just want to confirm whether this is the right way assuming I do not want any indication for Power good output in my application.
