I am using the TPS61021A to boost a single AA cell to 3.3V. I've searched through the entire datasheet but could not find any info regarding input reverse polarity protection. Does the converter have any built-in protection? Do I need to add external protection? What will happen if the user inserts the AA cell backwards?
