Hi,

Iam looking for a DC to DC step-up Booster circuit with below voltages with peak current being 30A.

input - 12V or 24V DC

output - anything between 90V to 120V DC.

can i get this in TI or please suggest where can I get.

Hi Lynnel,

What is the application? 3.6kW is quite a bit at 120V.
Do you need isolation since the output voltage is greater than 60V?

I'm planning to use it for Electric bike.

with or without isolation is not a problem.

Hi Lynnel,

This would be possible to do with the LM5170 with an external gate driver on the high-side to meet the voltage requirement. Note at that when boosting from 12V to 120V the duty cycle is going to be about 90%. Since this is quite large it might be a good idea to look at solutions such as a bridge converter.

Can you please give me some more details.

Iam open to suggestions on Booster. from your suggestion I understand LM5170 with an external gate driver is good but, Bridge converter is better.

Can you please suggest me, what type of Bridge converter or any specifications of Bridge Converter to be used.
