TPS54302: Question about TPS54302 design

Guru 16770 points
Part Number: TPS54302

Hi

1.

Regarding to Figure 15 in datasheet, what is R1 and C6?

Is the R1 used when to measure loop test? And could it be deleted in actual circuit?

Is it possible to delete C6?  Do you have materials to be explained feed forward capacitor?

2.

In Table 2 in datasheet, it is not C8 but C6.  Is it correct?

3.

A value of K_IND seems to be used properly depending on ESR of capacitor.

(When using low-ESR output capacitor, higher K_IND, but K_IND = 0.2 at higher ESR output capacitor)

Do you have baseline about low-ESR and higher ESR?

When to use K_IND=0.2 or K_IND=0.35?

BestRegards

  • hi,
    1.

Regarding to Figure 15 in datasheet, what is R1 and C6?

Is the R1 used when to measure loop test? --yes
And could it be deleted in actual circuit?---you can delete it in your design

Is it possible to delete C6? Do you have materials to be explained feed forward capacitor?
---do not sugget delete C6, resove C6 in PCB, but you can do not input. (DNI)

--You are right, it is C6

-------if you use ceramic capacitor, it is belongs to LOW-ESR output capacitor; if you use E-capacitor, it is belongs to higher ESR.
