LM5145: LM5145 in all output MLCC application

Hi expert,

My customer has a question on LM5145/LM25145. They want to know if it could be used in all output MLCC cap condition. As I know, control mode for this device is voltage mode w/ feedforward which is no output cap type limitation like ACOT or DCAP. So I want to double confirm if it could be used in all MLCC condition. Or do you have any concern in different perspective?

    Hi Ann,

    Yes, the LM5145 and LM25145 can function with an all-ceramic output capacitor implementation. Please use the quickstart calculator (available for download from the product folder) to assist with compensation component selection. Please use the effective output capacitance derated for applied output voltage.
