TPS3806: The differences between J20 version and I33 version for TPS3806

Part Number: TPS3806

Hi team,

The customer needs to get the differences between TPS3806J20 and TPS3806I33.

The datasheet shows VDD is from 1.3V to 6V. But the datasheet also shows J20 version can only

support 1.8V VDD and I33 version can support 3.3V VDD. So, what are the correct VDD for the two

parts?

Is there any other difference between the two parts?

  • Hi Mickey,

The VDD is the same for both devices: 1.3V to 6V

The voltage threshold to trigger a reset is different and is described in the EC table under the V_IT spec. TPS3806J20 is for monitoring 2V rails and causes the RESET output to trigger when VDD drops below 1.8V typical. TPS3806I33 is for monitoring 3.3V rails and triggers the RESET output when VDD drops below 3.0V.

Please let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks!
