Does TI have Local Dimming LED Backlight drive total solution?

Our customer is ready to develop the Local Dimming LED Backlight drive. Mainly used in small size (about 10 inches) LCM module.

The loacl dimming scheme based on MCU consists of three parts: FPGA or SOC, MCU and LED Driver IC.

SOC collect image signals and send data to MCU through SPI interface.

After data processing, MCU controls one or more LED drivers through SPI.

Hi,

The figures you provide can't open.

We have LED driver solution for local dimmimg.

Any details from customer how they configure the LEDs? Like how many zones, current, LED count?

LED is controlled in five zones, each zones current is 110mA and voltage is 32V.

LEDs are controlled in five zones, each zones current is 110mA and voltage is 32V. There are 672PCS LEDs each zone. All are 3360 LEDs. Thank you
