My customer is using LM5161. It will start up and shut down every 60ms in their design. They are wondering if that is safe? Below is the waveform:

Hello Yangbo,

Please share the schematic.

Looks like the input voltage is quite low and the LM5161 is entering UVLO. Can they reduce the source impedance of the input supply so that it stays at a constant voltage?

Yes, it is entering UVLO. It is a special application. if it enters into ULVO every 60ms, is that safe?

Yes, should be fine. It's just a normal shutdown and startup on a repetitive basis.
