LP5907: Output Capacitor

Hello,

Can a 22uF ceramic capacitor be used on the output of the LP5907?

The datasheet mentions Cout of 10uF being the largest value recommended.

    Hi Keith,

    No a 22 uF capacitor cannot be placed on the output of LP5907. The maximum capacitor that should be placed on the output of LP5907 is 10 uF in order to achieve a stable output and have a proper startup. Can you move some of the output capacitance to the input of the LDO? Otherwise could you help me understand your application so that I can help suggest another LDO?
