Hello,
I am using EM1402EVM board for active cell balancing and trying to interface with PC uisng the bq76PL455 GUI via TMS57004 board. I have soldered/ disconnected the required resistors as well. And have also connected the TMS57004 using UART port on EM1402EVM (with batteries plugged in), but I'm still getting "Unable to open port" pop up when trying to open the bq76PL455 GUI.
The LED D15 on EM1402EVM lights up 'at times when I plug in the USB.
1. Is that an indication that the EVM1402EVM is getting detected?
2. How do I identify the possible root cause for not detection of port, as this is most initial step of interfacing and detecting the board?
