BQ2060A: No consideration of the push button for led

Hi,

We received a customer return about a BQ2060a circuit : no LED activation after pressing on the button.

LEDs and button are compliant. Furthermore, the voltage of /DIPS pin, drop after the pressing.

Note : Voltage/Current/Temperature calibration are compliant.

However, after a initialize command, the display function is operational again. But Voltage/Current/ calibration were not compliant.

It looks like a bug of the app. Have you ever had this type of problem?

Hi,
Is it possible to see all the differences of the EEPROM file and compare any differences from this pack to a good pack?
From what I can tell, we have not seen this type of issue, at least recently. I am not able to check the complete history though since this is a very old device.
It may also be possible that damage to the device is causing this type of behavior.

Hi,

Ok, I understand for the history.

I checked EEPROM. Only manufacturing data and calibration register have changed value.

You will find attached the file with my comments where there are a change.

One thing is amazing though: character register. On the file character [5..10] = FF. While through the visual of your software: the registers are at zero.
