TPS25940 FLT / PGOOD output questions

   PGOOD

1. Is there a case where PGOOD is output but  FLT is not output?

2. Is there a case where FLT is output but  PGOOD is not output?

3. What's the big difference between PGOOD and FLT? (Please tell me more about PGOOD)

    Hi Jae,

    It depends on system operating conditions also.. for example during an Overvoltage fault (FLT asserts) but PGOOD output stays HIGH if the load at the output is not enough to discharge Vout below its programmed threshold.

    I recommend to make use of software tools www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware (PSpice model or WEBENCH setup) and configure your system to verify various cases.
