I just downloaded the TPS92518HV evalution software that works with the LEDSPIMCUEVM-879 module attached to the 92518 EVM module.

I'm running Windows 10 on an intel core-i7 laptop (Asus) and I have all the latest updates installed.

The software installs fine and the Microsoft developer package does not install because there is already a more recent version installed.

But when the driver attempts to install, it fails with no useful message.

I have tried installing with the USB cable plugged in and without it plugged in: the code exits the same each time.

When I look in the control panel, device drivers, it shows two TI devices with no drivers installed.

Can someone suggest ways to get the driver to install?
