Hello all，

I'm not going to use the quick charge protocol right now, I'm going to suspend D+ /D- .And then the current is 2A, the input is 12V, and what is the calculation of the ILIM current?

I only found the maximum 1.8A resistance configuration in the manual, but did not see the 3200mA.

Hey Wade,

Please refer to Section 8.3.8.1 Input Current Limit in the datasheet for information on programming the input current limit via the ILIM pin.

What is the DPDM mean ? The D+/D- are impending，how can I set the ILIM？

Hey Wade,

DPDM refers to D+ and D- USB detection. What that test is specifying is that the result of D+/D- detection on the charger is an unknown adapter. This can be instantiated by floating the charger's D+ and D- pins. When the detection is complete, the result will be an Unknown adapter and the input current limit will be based on the ILIM pin resistance.

To set the ILIM input current limit, ILIM = KILIM / RILIM, or alternative said, R_ILIM = K_ILIM / R_ILIM. Customer's tend to use the typical spec for K_ILIM.
