UC2572: Next gen replacement device

Hi Team,

A customer wants to use the UC2572, but the switching Freq is too slow for them.
Do we have a direct functional replacement (need not be pin to pin) to the device with atleast 400 KHz?

Hi,

Sure, I can try.

The application is a two-voltage power supply (+/- 15 V). For space reasons, they are using an LLC circuit with an upstream PFC stage. They want to have a common mass as a reference point, as well for the processor in the secondary side in order to allow a clean regulation of the two circuits. They also want to avoid the potential adjustments for measurement purposes. The UC2572 was a good match but the switching Freq is only 200 KHz. They want to avoid large inductive components.

They need an IC which has the same features but faster as the UC2572.

Can you take a look of the LM5022, which can switch up to 2MHz.
