BQ27426: Deadband Setting?

Hi Expert,

I want to get the CHEM ID for a small cell(25mAh) in bq27426EVM. So, I chang the Rsns to 100moh and calibrated the EVM, but when I record it in 4mA load, I can't get the current value. Should I change the "Deadband" setting? Thanks!

Hi Jrerry,

You need to reduce the deadband so bqstudio can show the current being measured. You will also need to calibrate the current measurement.

Note that for such small capacity cell, you will need to follow the instructions in the app note.
