hello sir,
customer can duplicate the bq24610 Pin20(PH) short to Pin22 (BTST).
test condition:
without AC adapter, battery removal and insert repeatedly. (around 70~80 times)
according to test result, they suspect bq24610 was broken by reverse current from battery.
They intend to add diode to prevent reverse current as figure below. (refer to attached)
Do you have any comment?
Is there any effect on circuit?
