TPS548B22: NC and Nu pin

Hi team,

I have some question about this device. There are some NU pin and NC pin.

Is it possible to be connect NU pin and NC pin and RESV_TRK pin each other if it should be open?

(i.g. #1~#3 can be connected each other? and NU pin adn NC pin can be connected ?)

Also If it possible,is it possible to connect to ground with there are tied?

Hamamoto-san,

Leave the NC pins 6, 7, 26 and 27 open (not connected to anything). Leave RESV_TRK pin open (not connected) as well. Leave the NU pins also open. They are to support other devices in the same package that have different features.

Hi John-san,

Thank you for your support as always.

For example, #6 and #7 are NC but it should not be connected each other. Is my understanding correct?
(#6 and #7 ,#26 , #27 should be left open each other. Is that correct?)

Hamamoto-san,

Correct. Do not connect them to anything, not even to each other. Just have them soldered to an unconnected pad.

Hi John-san,

Can I ask additional question for this?

The NC pin (#6-7,#26-27) and NU pin(#1~3) are very close each other.

If the #6 and #7 (or other neighbored pins ) are shorted,what happen?
If it should be cared for that kind of shorted case, we need to think about it.

Hamamoto-san,

Sorry I did not see you had a follow up question. It will not affect the IC if the NC /NU pins are shorted to other pins.
