TPS65910: Is there the TPS65910 device OTP?

Part Number: TPS65910

Dear All

        In the <TPS65910Ax User's Guide for AM335x Processors>, www.ti.com/.../swcu093f.pdf

I have a question, the OTP loads is whose? is TPS65910? or AM335x ?

  • Hi Went,

This is referring to the OTP memory of the TPS65910, where the VRTC default mode information is stored.
  • Hi, Kevin

How long does the OTP load ?

  • Went,

The RTC voltage rises at the same time as the input voltage VCC7, as can be seen in "Figure 5-3. Device Turn-On/Off with Rising/Falling Input Voltage" of the TPS65910 datasheet.

It is not a question of the timing of when the OTP loads, in my opinion, but a warning that there must not be a load on the VRTC supply until the supply reaches its output set-point of 1.8V

The OTP loads almost instantaneously after this point, but the OTP will never load if VRTC never reaches 1.8V

The timing specified in Figure 5-3 from when VRTC = 1.8V to when the 32-kHz oscillator is operational is defined as td32KON, which depends on the type of oscillator used.
