Hello

when loading is not enough the converter operates in Discontinuous conduction mode, but the compensation is provided only considering the continuous conduction averaged model- TI literature SLUSA16D.

then how the compensation works in DCM?

What is the role DCM pin of UCC28950 when synchronous rectification is not used?

The DCM pin has no effect when diode rectification is used.

Normally, if a system is stable in CCM then it will be stable in DCM.

The loop gain will always be lower in DCM than in CCM. Providing that the gain has an integrating characteristic and then, as the gain drops in DCM the loop crossover frequency will also drop.
