BQ76PL455EVM: How to download the graphs from BQ GUI after the poll has stopped?

Part Number: BQ76PL455EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO

Hi,

What connecting the EM1402 means to me, at this point, is using the FTDI cable to "connect" to the host. Then a 12V lead acid battery is connected by port to the EM1402 EVM to the TOP. Then sixteen 8650 cells are connected to each other (positive to negative). Finally those sixteen cells are connected to the EM1402 EVM through the white port.

(Also the switch is flipped to SINGLE)

Finally, the BQ GUI is opened and the cells start to change in volts.

How to download the graphs from BQ GUI after the poll has stopped?

Also with this setup is the BQ chip balancing? passive balancing? or active balancing?

If not active balancing, what should I do for active balancing?

  • Hi Elda,

s per the bqStudio GUI, the quickest method is to do a screen shot or save the datalog as a .CSV for post processing. Depending on the needed resolution and scan the user can select the time-slice  .

    (2) Please use the SNOU143- User's Guide as your reference guide. The EM1402 EVMs an evaluation board of the Active balance chipset.
