1.Currently EVM is 120W.

Can you explain why the design tool selects LN=13.5 with respect to  QE=0.15 ?

 

2.I would like to evaluate a 300W server power.

Can I have your reference design about LN and QE= ?

    Thanks for your interest in UCC25630-1EVM. Ln=13.5 was chosen to minimize the circulating current in the resonant tank at light load conditions for better light load efficiency. Qe=.15 was chosen to meet the required maximum gain in the LLC tank.

    I don't have an exact match for your design spec but TIDA-01501 might be a useful reference design for you:www.ti.com/.../TIDA-01501.

    The design calculator can also help with choosing appropriate Ln and Qe values for your design. The calculator can be found near the bottom of this page:www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware.
