bq24105 issue

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24105, BQ24105EVM

Hi,

I'm using the bq24105 battery charger. It works but there is an issue on the RT1-RT2 NTC voltage divider.

I need to stay in the 0°C-45°C (the same as the application note on the datasheet). The schematic and the ntc are exactly the same of the datasheet but I'm getting about 32°C -87°C instead of 0°C-45°C.

Using the default RT1( 9.31K) and RT2 (442K) as the datasheet.I'm sure that the ntc is the correct one(103AT b3435 10K @25°C)

Can you tell me where I'm wrong ? (I have also modified the ti evaluation board with the same results.)

best regards

  • The RT1 and RT2 values are correct.  Please make sure RT1 is connected between  VTSB pin and TS pin.

Would you help me measue the TS pin voltage when the bq24105 charger trigers the temperature fault? Also, what modification do you do on the bq24105EVM?
