I'm looking for a recommendation. I have two power rails, nominally 5V each. I want to be able to switch between them with 1 GPIO pin. Total load current is 6A max. I've had good results with TPS2115 but it can't handle the current. Any suggestions? Most load-switches can't have their outputs tied together.

    Hi Jon,

    At this time, we do not have an integrated solution for such high currents.

    For higher current load switch power muxing, we have this app note that may be helpful, especially if you are interested in a seamless switchover. If not, then you could always use a two channel solution like the TPS22976 and put the channels in a back-to-back configuration for blocking reverse current.

    Out of curiosity, what kind of application is this for?
