I am using TPS54531 for an out put of 5V,5A. My input is 6V to 7.4V. I am using a battery as input. My battery cut off voltage is 6V. So I need to disable the IC when input falls below 6V. So what will be the values of Ren1 and Ren2. I cannot understand what is Vstart and Vstop for my design. So please help me with it.

Hi,
refer datasheet page 10, equation 1 and 2:
Set V_STAR =6.3V, V_STOP=6V, then you can get
Ren1 100kohm
Ren2 ~24.27kohm

could you please explain how can we set Vstart and Vstop. What is meant by Vstart and Vstop

Hi,
Vstart/Vstop is set based on real application, Vstart-Vstop can be think as a hysteresis,
as your application and Ryan's suggestion, you want to stop 54531 when Vin=6V, so you can set Vstart as 6V+500mv hysteresis, and Vstop is 6V, when Vin decrease to 6V trigger UVLO, and when Vin back and increase to 6.5V, UVLO released and IC can work.
